Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
Hi Thelma, thanks for posting those. Are there any numbers at all on the bases?
The egg cup monogram may be one of the services..ie navy, police

re numbers
Thanks for your comment. There are no numbers on the bottom Heather, just made in New Zealand around the inside of the bottom rim on the cups. The cup with the monogram has Fox Glacier on it. The egg cup I will try to take a better photo of. Still have some more boxes to go through yet so who knows what I will find. Haven't seen the light of day for a few years now.

Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
A bit off topic, but your cups reminded me that I saw an Earthstone bowl that had rings in blue and brown tonings inside ... any idea what pattern they would go with Marl? I didn't get it as it was $5 - but I'd still like to know.

I don't know what it could be, the only thing a bit like what you describe is Twilight d809. I will put a photo up but it is a trademe one so not for publication, cheers, marl

Hahaaa the pic is now published on the net
No the main colour is the light brown tonings like the other Earthstone pieces.
It's just the rings in the bottom of the bowl that have the blue look about them ...?
Dammit I'm going to have to fork out the $5 and get one of them now as I'm curious

It's cute .... don't think we have a shape number for that mug .... yet.
Is it the same shape as the mug above?

Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
Thought I'd have a little look for the number of the mug....
The shape is 3050 and these were made in the 1980's.

Yes it appears to be the same shape exactly and I have these others in my orphan mugs section also. Thanks for looking up the number.

Clown mug with different handle.
My latest find. Slightly wider than the usual mugs with a handle that has a definite ridge. Has the usual Made in New Zealand around the bottom.
