3050 etc lady by the window
I think this mug may have faded.
Second picture taken as pattern lost in the triptych.
Look closely to see the white outlines.

I would say from experience that the blue glaze has been put on first and then the white glaze has been put over the top of the blue part way. It's a nice contrast.
Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
Ev, I'm so used to CL white being clear glaze over white body that that did not occur to me but now you say so I can feel the thickness change between colours work for your description. Also there is a white pooling at top handle junction.
One other thing about this blue mug which may have bearing on 3050 vs 3051:
It has the wide footring but it is not raised (the usual half a mil sort of thing) from the body as on my other 3050-etcs but flush with the blue glaze. Could just be the glaze is thicker than usual but I thought it worth a mention.
Generally I don't like diagonal dipping but this blue is so yum.
Do these latest two belong in no name gallery?

I've put the Lady by the Window into the Gallery, but the blue/white isn't a pattern as such, it's what is known as a double dip of glazes, so I'm not sure if it will have a name or not..... ?

Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
I have the same horse racing transfers, but on the second, tall, (3043?) mug shape rather than the 3036 it is seen on above.
I watched a humorous CL tennis mug on tm for a while but I have lost track of it now and cannot remember if it had the same font as the others.
These are a distinct series from the kiwi sport one where the athletes are kiwis.
I don't recall a third sport series.

The old duck hunting scenes could be a sporting series too?

Re: Show us your mugs .... Crown Lynn of course ;)
Thanks as those seem to be from the same series as your other ones, although they are on different shaped mugs just as Jeremy has pointed out. I think we are on the right sporting track with these and I will add one of yours to the Patterns Gallery

Floral beauties
We probably have this pattern in the gallery somewhere, but they are really lovely
This pansy pattern is so sweet with the butterfly on the inside
and this one is just so reminiscent of the "flower power' era
