Robyn Stewart
OMG how come I haven't posted my favourite treasure yet?
Perhaps because it lives in it's specially made box, nestled in it's wadding for safe keeping!
Robyn burnishes her ware and smokes it in a sawdust firing.
Robyn Stewart's mark....

I am a relation (fairly distant) of Robyn's and have managed to recently buy two small pieces of her work while in Wellington in March this year.
I know she is no longer working and suffers from dementia but we spent a wonderful afternoon last month with her and her son David at the Brick Bay sculpture trail in Mahurangi.
I am very interested in anyone who has any of her work that they would like to sell. I am in New Zealand on an extended holiday and would dearly love to take some more of Robyn's work back home to Scotland with me.
I hope some one may be able to help me find some of her pieces.

Very saddened to hear that Robyn Stewart has passed away.
Her talent, creativity and her influence regarding ceramics and Maoritanga will always remain. At peace.
