Royal Oak Cylindrical Corked Container Sizes
Royal Oak Cylindrical Canisters and Spice Jars
I have sorted through my Royal Oak cylindrical containers and decided that I have six different sizes. I guess there are variations within and between batches when they are made but I cannot dismiss the differences in sizes between the containers on hand as measured simply as variation.
For convenience I will refer to the "spice jar" on the left as number one (1) and the "canister" on the right as six (6). I measured them between a wooden block and a flat tile to be as accurate as possible and averaged between two measurements taken at right angles around the diameter. The measurements of height H, outside diameter OD and inside (cork hole) diameter ID in millimetres are as follows.
---HxODxID
1 77x70x45
2 83x73x47
3 85x75x47
4 93x85x60
5 99x90x59
6 130x125x85
I forgot to say number three, small brown flower, is part of a set with paper spice labels on the other side.
