The other doesn't have a photo or mention of a mark ( I haven't asked whether there is a mark or not) but I noticed a striking similarity between the shapes of the tankards in the two auctions... Any thoughts? Glazes quite different

Definitely a whole lot of similarities going on all right!
I've asked if there are any makers marks/stamps as Mirek seemed to have stamped all of the work of his that I've seen. Plus google him to see if there is anything with similar decoration on the net ..... I'm supposed to be finishing cooking the dinner ...... ooops

I decided to ask too, I am wondering whether the other question asker has a similar thought... would be a real bargain if they are Mirek's

Good idea re google - will see what I can see...

I have a reply - bought direct from a potter with a pottery in Waihi, no mark.

So an interesting wee mystery anyway.
