These both look rather roughly finished near the top and Stephen's Mother thinks that her husband may have rescued them from the tip when he worked at Crown Lynn during the 1960's.  Stephen wonders if his Father tried to repair the tops as he had a kiln and made pottery after leaving Crown Lynn in the 1970's.

I have thought for sometime that despite what the stamp may be suggesting, these could be from the 1960s and not the 50s.

Those are neat ~ but the tops do look like they have been altered.
