Salt glazed pot.
A big 290mm high salt glazed pot. The front and back faces have been slightly flattened. Unfortunately the glaze underneath has all but hidden the mark.
Found in an opp shop this week. It couldn't be by Mirek Smisek could it?

Can you post a photo of what can be seen of the mark dollcrown as perhaps the surround can help. Nice pot.

Hi Ev, a friend was round today and thinks it could be a Coromandel potter.

They could be right, as I don't see anything that says Smisek in that mark. It looks like an O at the end doesn't it?
