Royal Grafton Fine Bone China - Crown Lynn Ceramics (UK) Ltd
Having just seen a Grafton Fine Bone China Catalogue at the Portage Museum I didn't hesitate to pick up some pieces that I came across today that were 2 for $1 all posh and fancy pancy and I thought I would check them out with the photos I took and ....
I'm actually shaking ...... these match the pattern called Majestic OMG OMG OMG !!!!
Any other day and I would have walked right past these thinking 'Who would know!'
Photos to come when possible.
I know they are not Crown Lynn as such, as they were owned by Ceramco, but it is so exciting for me to know what their ware looks like and to find some is drop dead gorgeous stuff. The backstamp is one we have looked at and know too.

Here are the photos and I still can't believe how lucky I am sometimes!!
Royal Grafton was sold to Crown Lynn Potteries in 1971 and renamed Crown Lynn Ceramics (UK) Ltd and operated until around 1985 making the finest bone china you ever did see!

How incredible to find another piece from the Royal Grafton catalogue and this time it is a fancy cup, very much like one that Crown Lynn made. The pattern is called Wayside and there are 6 different flower patterns which remind me of English wild flowers.

I noted the similarity in an edit on the "copied" topic back in January but a picture certainly beats a link.

I did not realise at the time that CL actually owned RG, so I guess they had every right!
