Enchantment d408
Yes, this was in the Patterns Book at the Museum too, but once again with a different Deco No ... which was d272!!!!
Perhaps the Pattern Book one doesn't have a brown inside rim ring? I didn't notice!
This same Tulip Tree flower pattern also came in pink Davina d356 and orange Carlton d273.
Just to note that there is one date in the patterns book, an amendment in 1980.

Re: Enchantment d408
I have that one in my files as 408. Matter of curiosity, just what do you have to do to find the patterns at the museum library? Are they all there in a book or do you have to spend hours searching? cheers, marl

Re: Enchantment d408
I think we should meet up at the Museum next time I go Marl !
I wanted to suggest it to you when I went, but you are otherwise occupied atm.
This is what you need if you want to see the Pattern book, which starts at d050 and ends at d400. It's rather large and takes me the 4 hrs every time I look at it, though I usually have a coffee break too !!
Auckland Museum Library is open from 1pm - 5pm weekdays ... Saturday longer.
The file number is MS 98/34
The Item Number for the Pattern Book is 36
Just ask for this at the desk in the entry.
Take your laptop, as I will do next time I go as memory is useless!!
Pencils are supplied, but take notepaper.
Gloves are supplied which you must use if you look at any photos.
PS there are 45 Crown Lynn Items and I've only ever looked at about 10 Items!

Re: Enchantment d408
I would love to go but as you say I am a bit tied up at the moment with baby and daughter minding. Another 4.5 weeks and she should be OK. Maybe we could meet up or if not I could go exploring by myself (I know husband would be very interested as well.) Thanks for the info.
