Jenny Shearer told me that Jan was a member of their potting group some years ago and made great pots.

Jan Manley/Janna Symons Empty Not deceased

Post  Jan Manley Sun 13 Oct - 17:11

Hi everyone
I just chanced upon this site looking for information and came across a post which said I had passed away. Crikey, that's scary.
I'm now known as Janna Symons, but when I was potting in the 70's and 80's I was Jan Manley.
I loved the shino glaze and achieved happy effects using my double chambered diesel kiln with some salt laden totara wood thrown in.
Lived in Raumati. Now further north and pleased to report healthy and active doing other stuff.
Cheers Janna

Jan Manley
