The Portage Ceramic Trust show the little ashtray with the closed handle to be the 797 -
http://www.nzmuseums.co.nz/account/3384/object/491656/Chamber_pot_-_miniature

I found measurements at the Museum for this, now I just have to find them!
2 1/4 inches which equates to 57mm and the Portage measurements are
H37 x W75 x d57.
These measurements include the 57mm which makes me question the drawing at the Museum which is from the Crown Lynn records.

Didn't I ask Kat for the measurements of her little one with the hole in the handle?

Thoughts please!

They are different sizes, green left is 40h x 75w  and little on right is 30h x 55w incl.handles
Green has old backstamp  cat It seems right that this would have an old 3 digit number & the later backstamp on the little one should be a 4 digit..

Ok Kat you have talked me into it.
Did you notice that they classify this as a toy.... yet the records call it a Chamber Ashtray. Perhaps your little one is a toy, as it wouldn't hold much ash would it?

how strange that this posting has popped up... I picked up one of these tiny pots yesterday and thought I would come on here to search for it as it was the eye in the base, that made me buy it.. I was unsure if it was CL or not.
The transfer on mine is rubbed off and bunched up and tacky..

The one on the left... I saw 2 in a op shop 50 cents each.. I was unsure and didn't buy them.. kicked myself later Sad

((For someone who last week said "I am not collecting anymore CL - I have too much" I came home with - 2 jugs, 3 dishes, one plate the small pot and 3 storage jars 1302 1303 1304 oh and 3 cups ummmmm Razz))  oh no!!! there is a 1305 to add to the set !!
