RNZAF Kings Crown Salt & Pepper
Hi Team,
Received these two today, to add to our growing RNZAF collection.
I have seen the tall thin shaped shaker on other posts, but this combination seems different.
First of all I though miss match, but the common blue band at the top suggests it is possible a set?
Keen to hear any thoughts from the team on this.

Re: RNZAF Kings Crown Salt & Pepper
Hi Billyvan,
These shakers are from different eras.
The Shape 183 on the left was made in the late 1940's early 1950's.
The Shape 1677/78 was first made in 1973.
Both made by Crown Lynn for the RNZAF.
Note that the crowns are different too, though that is from different eras and not different Royalty.
Both of these shapes will have matching pieces.
Good luck in finding them

Re: RNZAF Kings Crown Salt & Pepper
I have a question. Why do the 1677/78 shakers have 1, 3 & 5 holes? I have a set with just 2 thin brown lines as decoration, but they are 3 & 5 holes. In the gallery, they both have 3 holes.

My current collection is not all the variations I have seen either. Unfortunately some were outside my budget.
