Harwyn, Rancich/Silva vases for gallery from a private collection.
Ev and I had the honour of seeing an amazing collection. I tried to grab px of some that we don't have in the gallery. These are all Rancich/Silva, to the best of our knowledge. The light was low and my camera isn't the best but here goes. (Ev please comment and correct - I was a wee bit overcome and my memory isn't the best!)
Flambeau (by Partridge family) vase with no visible number - blank almost certainly from Rancich/Silva
Harwyn vase with anenomes. No visible number but almost certainly Rancich/Silva
Harwyn vase 23
Harwyn float bowl. Artist Ivy Williams. No visible number. This was very heavy with a thick base. "Wally Silva when he was still learning" said Ev.
Harwyn vase - I think this is number 14
Harwyn vase with felt glued to the base.
Harwyn ripple top vase number 18
Harwyn vase with beautiful pheasant decoration (not sure of signature on this one)
Harwyn vase with unusual handle - I didn't photograph the base of this one.
Harwyn(?) vase with unusual decoration Number 13 on the base.
This really doesn't look like any of the others. No idea who did this decoration.
And lastly a K Pottery vase. From memory, we were told that these are Silva vases, that were sold/given to the owner of the land that Silva had his pottery on. The landlord also had a shop where he sold some of the vases as K Pottery. The decoration is quite different - no idea at present who did it. Number 7 on the base.

Thanks so much Val. I will add them all to the Harwyn/Partridge Gallery and the 23 to the Rancich Gallery along with the heavy trough.

Thank you so much for recording these amazing pots Val, as they show so much of the Harwyn and Rancich connection. The decoration is outstanding and was done around the mid 1940's by unsung decorators with splendid artistic abilities.
I have added Rancich/Silva to the heading of your post so that it will get seen by searches for both Harwyn and Rancich.
