Oamaru Masonic Lodge earthenware set and Freemasons NZ
Many thanks to Donna Leckie for letting us use her photos of this unusual set.
The cup is a Shape 3066 which was first made in 1984 and the saucer has the later Made In NZ stamp on it and both of these were made from earthenware.
The records show this badge to have the pattern no D002 and that it is Vitrified Badged Ware, so perhaps some vitrified ones will turn up one day ...?
Check it out !!!

Thanks Ev! It's in remarkably good condition, not a single defect or mark on it. Looks to be unused. Ev, would you know an approx date of manufacture please?

Re: Oamaru Masonic Lodge earthenware set and Freemasons NZ
This cup shape 3610 was first made in November 1963, so would have been made anytime between then and 1989 when they closed Nosmada.
I would like to add your photo to the Badged Gallery please, but will head it Freemasons NZ.
I have a faint memory of my Father being a member a very long time ago.
