A gorgeous stoppered jug, with the text "R.T.N.Z. Nelson '83". I am trying to find out what it means:

Yeah, that's one of the meanings I found for the abbreviation, as well as Regional Tourism and Return To New Zealand (military). Still trying to find out what happened in Nelson in 1983.
