I have a pic of this in my collectors guide. Interestingly my plate is in the same pattern as yours, Nana.

Re: Royale from the Quartet Range
Oops, I was too excited thinking I found something new and didn't the book. I have a few pieces of this speckled background glaze and also trying to match sets etc.
PS Now I am in older years I quite like the clovers and browns. Hated them when I was in 20-40 year bracket.

Yes isn't it funny. I used to LOATHE these designs, now I find them quite restful and elegant. Funny what the passing years do to our tastes!

I still don't like red wine and blue cheese though.

Re: Royale from the Quartet Range
I found the pattern information for Royale and it is different from the Royal in the Gallery.
This has the pattern number d358 and uses the 3038 cup shape. The bands are in the Honey colour and the background is called Clover.
There is no mention of the Quartet Range, but I'm hoping that others from this range will turn up one day.
I will add the pattern to the Patterns Gallery and the Stamp to the Backstamp Gallery thanks so much Nana.
