Ambrico Adverts from 1943 Empty Ambrico Adverts from 1943

Post  Ev Wed 13 Feb - 17:52

The latest release of newspapers that has just gone live on Papers Past.

Titles as follows:

* Lyttelton Times (1915-1920)
* Manawatu Standard (1924-1945)
* Nelson Evening Mail (1923-1930)
* Press (Jan-Jun 1887, Sep-Nov 1903)
* Waikato Times (1922-1928)

It is incredible to see that in June and October in 1943 there were adverts for Ambrico cups and Ambrico Morning Tea Cups in the Otago Daily Times.
There were endless adverts for Ambrico 3 Pint Electric Jugs from 1944 with indestructible elements.

One that caught my eye was 15 Feb 1944 for Ambrico Cups Canadian Shape :O
Pudding Basins and Mixing Bowls were advertised from 1947, as were Ambrico Jugs.
Ambrico Cups and Saucers were being promoted in 1946.
