Te Rona shiny glaze salt pepper
Until our recent trip to the South Island, I didn't realise that Te Rona had a matt glaze and a shiny glaze. I now have a salt and pepper in each! There is quite a lot of Te Rona in the south - nice to see.

Re: Te Rona shiny glaze salt pepper
The Te Rona I've seen has been decorated with marbled slips with a matt finish. Some of the pieces have had a transparent gloss glaze applied over the top usually in the interior but sometimes down the exterior to varying depths.
Mind you the range of Te Rona products is far more extensive than I originally was aware of. There may be more and mores shapes being discovered particularly in the South Island.
