Re: Petra Ceramics - Teacup
I have never thought of these as lamp bases, but there you go.
Earthworks was a Gallery in Wellington somewhere.

Re: Petra Ceramics - Teacup
With those holes near the bottom, perfect for a power cord, and the fact they are open at the top, I don't know what else they would be but lamp bases.

Re: Petra Ceramics - Teacup
Were they covered in wax Hannele?
Val Monk has posted them as candlesticks ...

Re: Petra Ceramics - Teacup
At first sight I thought them to be candlesticks too, especially with the wax all over and in them. But then I saw that they were open at the top, which is not a good idea for candlesticks, because the wax will get all the way down there, and I saw the round holes (see photographs), which told me power cord, therefore lamp bases. Of course I could be wrong.
