Nancy Gisborne started potting in Tokoroa. She then opened Lichfield Pottery. From there Nancy moved to Waihi and then to Te Pohue where she started Karma Pottery and the P.I.M. (pottery in motion) name. John Gisborne was potting with his mother then, and now carries on with the PIM name and is working at the Waiohiki Art Village in Taradale which he helped set up with Helen Mason. The photo of the salt glazed pot made by Nancy was fired in Mirek Smisek's kiln. Also - the - a b g - on the bottom is her name
