I am interested in adding to my collection of Royal Oak Domestic. I have not seen many of this particular design available. Has anyone else? If so where and were they available for purchase?

The brown flower pattern was everywhere in the opshops about five years ago but I don't see so much these days.

This small flower pattern was also available in pimk and blue.

I have a few pieces but chose instead to collect the lava glaze one that I have been reliably informed is not lava glaze.

Check the trademe other nz pottery section regularly and go to all the opshops and markets you can. I don't think that this is very sought-after so prices are usually quite low.

You can try searching Royal Oak on trademe but unless it still has stickers on it is usually posted as maker unknown.

Royal Oak domestic collection Empty Thanks

Post  Kaymcce Wed 21 Feb - 14:20

Hi Jeremy, I recently returned to NZ and on leaving Australia I left most of my collection behind. Now I find that I am sorry I did that and need to start my collection again. It now has more significance.

Gosh I'm not sure what you mean.
We can private message each other or discuss things on posts.
We can't contact each other through the Galleries.
Good luck Smile

Thank you, I am beginning to understand how it works. I am looking for more of the collection which I posted previously today. Jeremy made some suggestions which were also helpful.
