Can some Parker Pottery collectors check out the mark above please?
I'm not sure if it is Norman's work and mark

Hi Ev, this mark is the same as the gallery, the difference is that there is some colouration in the circle above the N. Would you like some more pictures of the mark for clarification?

Thanks nana, but more photos won't help. I will wait for some thoughts from others as I see many differences in the mark. Even the glaze isn't familiar as it looks high fired.

Norman Parker bowl & for gallery Empty Is this the same markers mark as the Norman Parker?

Post  Nana2x2 Mon 29 Jan - 16:10

Hi, I have another pot that could be Norman Parker, the mark has similarities but looks 'scratched' instead of stamped. I have search through the marks galleries and can't find anything close to it other than Norman Parker

Thanks nana, I have found two confirmed marks for Norman Parker on the site and I've put them both into the Parker Pottery Gallery.

I'm still waiting for some confirmation for your marks, as I am not prepared to do that on my own. I thought I had a pot with his mark on it too, but I've already spent so much time on this already and haven't had a chance to look also I've got people lined up with patterns and marks to be added to the site and I have to check them all out before I can add them.

I've added your marks to the Mystery Marks Gallery nana and hope that we get some feedback before too long.
Please look through all of the Parker Pottery topics and you can see what sort of pottery they made and what glazes they used.

Hi Ev, I have looked through these and this is why I think that the bowl is a Norman Parker hand potted (but not Parker Pottery). The glaze and colours are so similar to those already here. When I open my pics an look at some of these there is similarity.
Thank you for your help with this.

Ev I am confident that the "norm Parker maybe" mark is Norms. I have Parker work in that glaze combination. I have not seen the scratched np mark before so cant help with that one.
