My red ginger jar has fraction on it. Looks like they were experimenting with the glaze. As the red is faded.Ginger Jar with fraction on base 20180116

Nice find, i havn't seen a fraction marked Ginger Jar either.

Yes it's 31  1/2.  Thirty one and a half. Also unusual is that my other ginger jars have white bases, but this one is red.

Oh ok, just checked my Ginger Jars, they all have clear glazed bottoms. Cool
Thanks, I will add your fraction mark to the fractions Gallery..hopefully more info will come to light about what the fractions mean.
