This vase looks very like the Tapa posts which Signal Red talks about on this link.

I wonder if there is a connection? Vase is about 30 cm tall.  The mark on the base is quite small and very finely hand-written by the look of it.  The blue writing looks like test marks.

Yesterday while I was at the Portage Museum, Finn mentioned that Matt from Stepahead Ceramics used the building that the Museum is housed in as a pottery studio and he called himself Ambrico Studio.

He also mentioned that Matt bought the rights to the Retro Lynn Range from Studio Ceramics and is in the process of producing these pieces. The Retro Lynn Range included the Swans.

Matt is a member on here and his username is Stepahead Ceramics.

Thanks Ev.   Finn sent me Matts contacts and he is on my hit list! A bit distracted doing spring garden things at present.
