Jim's old mug marked "Made in New Zealand"

This appears to me to be too rough for the commercial potteries work from the 1970s, 80s, or 90s. The mark reminds me of some of the early Crown Lynn ones but I haven't seen one with the full "Made in New Zealand" ... unless I've forgotten something.

So, any ideas?

Of course the glazed foot ring gives me cause for doubt but I had to ask.
