Found this small bottle at Whitianga for 50c.
I like the lovely finish on the top of the bottle.... it tells me that it was made by a good potter.
The mark looked like an E until I took a photo of it lolz.
I was surprised at how little pottery was in Whitianga.... I expected to find much more.
Most of what I saw was rather inferior except for this wee bottle.

and the backstamp which shows an S with one dot....
unfortunately the stamp wasn't pushed in evenly.

Somehow I don't think it's Graeme's mark Kat.
This is what his mark really looks like ...

So gutted to find most of his marks have vanished on his topics Evil or Very Mad

This auction keeps popping up on Trade Me and gets my attention every time.

Guy Mountain Kati Kati and they never show his mark, but I know it will be a match.  I can't find out anything about this potter ..... I think I followed a lead once, but it ran cold, can anybody help?

Guy Mountain's mark is on the right and doesn't look anything like this mark !
