Crown Lynn car ashtrays
These three ashtray pics were sent to me by Gerda Pentinga, who is trying to find out more about them. She thinks they were bought in the early 1960s. They appear to be the same shape as the Hamilton Centennial ashtray of 1964

These ashtrays are all of rare and special cars, and Gerda thinks from memory that there was a set of six. I don't see them anywhere on the site, and Gerda is quite happy for her pics to be put in the gallery. Incidentally, Gerda said she took up collecting Crown Lynn as a means of connecting with her new home when she first came to live in NZ about 12 years ago.

Re: Crown Lynn car ashtrays
I've been in contact with Gerda, but she didn't share these photos. I haven't seen them before and they are not the Ardmore Grand Prix ones that I thought they might be. I did find an old listing on Trade Me for the Fiat ashtray, but there were no photos. We have a date for that ashtray shape 1963. They must be rather hard to find I would suggest. Plus going by other lines there would probably be a series of 6 of these ashtrays.
Umm... Ashtrays
I have a couple of these.. I didn't realise that we didn't have them on the site

Re: Crown Lynn car ashtrays
I only know this shape as Shape 830, but they could have made this shape after 1964 and given it another number .....?????

There were 20 Shape 1147 Round Rimmed Ashtrays made in May 1972 Janice and I think you are correct as this will be the Four Digit Number for these Ashtrays.
Not sure which one to add to the Gallery though .... lolzz Help!
Might look through the Decoration Advices for that time frame ughhh

Using Google Lens I found a listing in the USA for china dishes with these decals on them.
There were 8 in the series and it was made around 1960 and they have listed their set for $600 us !!!
We are missing the Maserati on the site, so please keep an eye out for it
