small toilet (believed to be Fowler)
Small toilet.
This cast miniature toilet is not marked for maker. It has a mould line on the base.
At 14cm high it dwarfs my toilet mugs so I'm thinking it might be a salesman's miniature. Then again, the position of the waste doesn't look quite right to me.
Does anyone recognise the shape?

Fowler in Sydney made a shape like this. Some of them have Fowler or Fowler Ware on the front. I think they were given as gifts to suppliers of bathroom products. The one I have is a white clay body and has a mold line along the base.

Re: small toilet (believed to be Fowler)
Definitely no markings of any sort here Tony.
I should have said that the clay body is similar to what I have seen on toilets and the glaze too, as if it was indeed made at a toilet pottery. Very high quality ceramic.
I forget my toilet pottery history. Was it Fowler who operated at Balclutha with, before, or after, Crown Lynn?
Thinking, if a Fowler, mine could have been made either in Aussie or NZ.
Tony, is yours accessible to photograph for comparison?

Re: small toilet (believed to be Fowler)
I spotted my toilet mug somewhere in the last week but can't now remember where. McSkimmings were the Benhar/Balclutha toilet company that was moved to Auckland and then shut down and the equipment shipped to Australia. Ceramco owned McSkimmings from 1980 and James hardy (Fowlers) from 1987. Richard Quinn had the final toilet they manufactured and someone had noted that and the date on it.

I agree Tony. Thanks for the effort there.
So is yours a Fowler?
And did you get it in NZ or Aus?

I bought it in Sydney via eBay. The seller was certain it was a company gift item rather than a salesman's sample and made by Fowler.
