Paris Tableware made by Ambrico from 1943
I see that Tony has put a photo of his piece of Paris tableware into the Tableware Gallery
I would like to see a bigger photo if possible Tony in this thread....
Paris was the very first tableware made by Ambrico from 1943 -
it has a distinctive ridged pattern from the jigger moulds that were used.
The clay used was a yellowy earthenware which gives the ware it's distinctive colour.

Re: Paris Tableware made by Ambrico from 1943
Alison Reid had a big selection of Paris Ware to choose from and I got a cup and saucer and she added a side plate. I chose the ones that had a shamrock on them which must have some meaning. Actually I have a much more recent white plate with the same shamrock on it come to think of it.
The backstamps differ on these pieces and are from the early 1940's. I will have to take another photo of the one on the saucer as it's slightly out of focus.
Another shot showing the shamrock on the inside of the cup ..
Made in NZ on the back of the side plate -
Made in New Zealand in a circle on the back of the saucer -

150 x 45 brown "early 1940s" Made in NZ backstamp
A bit stained, one glaze crack (not a hairline) and a bit of craze on glaze dribbles, no chips.
I'll try for better pictures another time.

Here are my two clover saucers
One is unmarked and the other is Kelston Ware British in gold, so this clover is still being used in the 1960's.

Kat did you post one of these saucers with one gold line and a clover centre?
I ask because of this listing today - Cameo Pat.No.120 Google showed a few of these have been listed. One of the local 2nd hand shops has piles of them!
