As the name of this pottery is difficult to make out, we would appreciate any other ideas please.  The handle and knob details are really ornate, but are not clearly shown.  It looks like the date is from the 1960's, but even that is difficult to read.
There is a small potter's mark that is vaguely familiar, but I don't have any ideas yet and need help with it please ...... it could be RP ...?

It is a fabulous large lidded pot !!
