I don't know what it's called either as this shape gets called an ashtray, a candle holder and a float bowl.
I will name it as an ashtray until it's corrected Very Happy
However as it doesn't have the places to put a ciggie like the above one, I'm not certain.

LoL, yes I've heard it called an egg cup too (toast around the outside?). I guess it's multi functional 😆
