529 planter pot that was painted green!
That has flowers on it and it looks like a tree trunk ?
It looks old - I inherited it when we moved here with a plant in it..... and there are no markings anywhere.

Re: 529 planter pot that was painted green!
I found a repaired 546 today and got it for $4 ... it has been painted
What attracted me to look at it were the same flowers and tree trunk effect that are on the planter above.
I wonder if there is a planter number around this era?
I only got it for the shape guide lolzzzz
and I picked up a perfect 129 for $3

I've just been looking at the shape guide...
and there is a chance that the planter could be a 529.... I think it was.
Heather could you check that for me with your paperwork....
the pic is too small on here and I can't see any detail.

Those flowers look like the same ones that are on your float bowl Heather!
Re: 529 planter pot that was painted green!
Ev, I reckon your planter with the green paint is undoubtedly a 529...it is the same shape and we have proven relationship with your 546 and my 540 and 544...they are all related and the 529 looks right. It was a larger version than what we have in the records we have but we dont have complete records.
As for removing paint, you will know better than I, I would probably scrub it off...

This range was obviously unglazed....
and that's why people wanted to paint them.
