Crown Lynn Disasters!
Who has had their favourite Crown Lynn piece break? Maybe you've dropped your favourite mug, Grandma's swan has broken its neck, or maybe the McAlpine jug has been rattled off the shelf in an earthquake!?

It's a crime when people don't package properly!
I've also got a Dorothy Thorpe Brocade Ball Handle teacup which I broke a few years ago, couldn't bring myself to throw it out!

This is a biggy! I feel for you, I don't think a Crown Lynn Disaster gets any worse than this one!!.... even my biased aside, it's surely one of the most rare Crown Lynn pieces known to exist and you loose the lid! Now you have the pain of looking at it with no lid for a lifetime, because we all know your chances of getting another lid are pretty much zero.

Re: Crown Lynn Disasters
Dale I think it would be worth finding a China repair person for this lid. PM me if you need suggestions.
