This crazy salt and pepper was also from Paeroa. They are exactly the same shape and dimensions as the early Beach Artware lamp bases - height 15.5 cm, so quite imposing. And also yet another glorious shiny orange lidded jar, height also about 15 cm. These make me so happy! No wonder Beach was so popular that they struggled to keep up with demand - Eva Beach told us she would unpack the kiln while it was still so hot that the ware scorched the paper packaging!

Beach pot
This magically appeared on my doorstep while I was out shopping.
I have my suspicions where it came from.
five inch spherical pot
I can't tell whether this is supposed to have a lid. I'll check with the gang on Thursday.
