"Fine Stoneware"
Crown Lynn calls its vitrified "fine stoneware" in this auction for House of Representatives individual casseroles.

They look like 5620's don't they and I don't see any numbers for these in the stoneware range.
I can't find Tom Clark juniors comments about the Stoneware range, but there were a lot of problems and I think the temperature went slightly higher than the normal earthenware. It annoys me when I can't find the correct information!
I have two sets in this stoneware range and one is the House of Reps and it's just beautiful.
However the Aurora Mistral set is all chipped on the base and is really dreadful.
