Glen Afton records at the Auckland Archives
The Auckland Archives have a big file on Glen Afton Potteries from 1940 to 1990 and what surprised me most was that Benhar/McSkimmings were the shareholders of the company from around 1940 and Ceramco took over sometime in the 1970's.
It appeared that the company didn't do any trading during this time, or they didn't make any profits for the shareholders at least, but they kept the Company registered.
I will have to read up on Gail Henry's information.
The Wellington Archives have some more records for Glen Afton Potteries.
