Was this made by Aquila?
It is bigger than the original Titian moon and palm vase.

Same size made by Anselmi.

I've pondered about this and as the shape is a match for the Catherine Anselmi one that is stamped, I am wondering if it is her work ...?
I will leave it for now as the maker is inconclusive.
More info required such as finding one the same that is stamped on Trade Me Smile

As Hemara modelled the Railway cup for Catherine Anselmi, perhaps he modelled this too?

I wasn't aware of that info Jeremy.  I know that she employed a modeller that worked at Crown Lynn, but he had an Asian name which escapes me atm.
Edits to add his name 'John Tai Tin'.

In this thread Catherine Anselmi talks about having permission from Ceramco to use their shapes and stamp.

Hemara said that he modelled for around 100 NZ potteries and he was trying to collect something from each last time I saw him.

I do miss posts, but if you come across it give me a whistle thanks Jeremy.
I do recall that he modelled for Petra at some stage.

No, now I remember it was not here but on Val's blog:

"After Crown Lynn closed Anselmi asked Hemara Hemara, an expert modeller, to help  her make moulds in the Crown Lynn railway cup shape."

http://valputaruru.blogspot.co.nz/2013/10/another-road-trip-more-stuff.html

My thoughts on the moon jug/vase were base solely on this comment.

Later ...
Btw one of those Keely Anselmi railway cups sold last week for $45 (tm1068289148)

Thanks Jeremy. I would have read that before, but unlike you it didn't sink in.
Yes Catherine's work is rather collectable.
