We would like to get the whole Salisbury Ware range into this Gallery also showing who produced the ware. A big challenge, but worthwhile for posterity.

Re: Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery
Have been loading photos into this Gallery most of the day and at the moment we are up to 113 items and the majority were supplied by Ambrico/Crown Lynn.
If you have any ware by Salisbury that isn't in the Gallery yet please add it to the topic. There are 17 pieces that need to have the supplier of the blanks identified, so if you are aware of this please let us know in here.
As Salisbury/Royal Oak were in business for quite some time, I feel there are a lot more shapes to be found yet.

Re: Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery
Ev i don't see this little mesh planter in the gallery. I am sure it has been discussed somewhere on the site because Oakpot told me that the little green leaves were made from recycled tins. It has been confirmed as Salisbury by Oakpot and also by the catalogues supplied by Oakpot. Sorry I can't remember offhand what number the Crown Lynn vase is.

Re: Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery
I will add this to the Royal Oak Gallery Val,
The planter isn't Crown Lynn and I'm only guessing that it was made by Sherwood or Titian, so won't add the maker.

Re: Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery
Just added the mesh planter and noticed that we have the pot a couple of times already.
The planter may jog someone's memory as to the maker of the pot.
I thought the pot was not up to Crown Lynn standards and the base wasn't like Crown Lynn.

Re: Salisbury Ware/Royal Oak Gallery
Royal Oak Pottery began importing the mesh once a year under licence from England since 1955.The planter above is circa 1957.The pot above is from Crown Lynn, its catalogue no 21.
My first full time employment involved meeting Joyce Maunder at Crown Lynn to arrange the collection of our bisque ware for decorating. We were never involved with Titian bisque ware after 1952.
