A Ngakura Cheif Pin Box lid that is not in the records ...

I noticed this plaster model of a pin box lid of a chieftain yesterday while I was at the Portage Museum.  Later when checking out Trade Me new listings, there it was.  How amazing as I hadn't taken any notice of this shape before.

Wow there is a bidder already! A collector of particular items Including Crown Lynn and Wharetana and I'm thrilled as it means that I don't have to bid now

Even with chips and missing glaze bits, this is up to $280.00 now and honeyglaze mentions that she has one as well in the questions and answers. I haven't seen her around for quite a while. Love her user name

@ $510.00 I think that was a respectable price for something as unusual as this. I noticed that Mr Crownlynn was asking questions. The carving doesn't have that Wharetana magic, but it still is pretty cool.
