Crescent Potteries South Africa
For a long time I have had a floral urn that I hoped was Titian and Ev said she didn't think so. She was right!. Yesterday I saw a vase in Jim's collection in the same style and same lightly crazed glaze. I will post this now and get a pic of my vase later.

Here's my vase. Quite tall, clearly marked F-154. The difference in colour between mine and Jim's is just lighting. Side by side they are identical glazes.

Re: Crescent Potteries South Africa
These Whangarei pottery meetings we have are a great forum.
Present at Jim's yesterday were Kat, Val, Miriam, Adriana, Brooke, Jim and myself.
Besides the vase Jim has a mug, in the style of Prinknash (England), that has Crescent Potteries embossed on the base. He gave me one the same last year and I tracked it down to South Africa.
It is so unlike the vases, but two simultaneous conversations yesterday tied vase to mug. I am pleased to see the follow up has confirmed the South African origin of the vases: I thought it was a big leap at the time.
I'll add pics of the mug sometime.
