Struck a goldmine today with records for patterns in the No Names Gallery !!
I'm on such a high as I had no idea that this splendid record of obscure patterns was at the Portage Museum. Each page has the name and number and a cut out sample of the pattern plus what shapes it was used on.
I had found a couple of Matthey transfer books and wondered why some had been cut out. I noticed the names that Mathey used for their transfers were not the same as the names that Crown Lynn gave the patterns.
However there are around 60 patterns to be named, so I will do my best asap
