cup does it go with the downtown series ?
I bought this cup, on the right more a "blue teal" the one of the left is "green teal" for comparison
I have never seen the Air New Zealand in the flesh, so it could be that shade of teal.
Does it go with the downtown series ? or a "blank" air new Zealand cup?
Any thoughts on that?
New paper ads say 4 colours - teal is in the list
Edits removed photo - colours are Sun Gold, Teal , Oyster and Bronze
Interestingly the patterns book - shows it originally came with a 3622 stacking black cup ( love to find one of those!)

I wonder which colour went with which town?

Re: Crown Lynn Trillos Auckland map plates
Janice, the Air NZ teal is almost a powder blue, way paler than other teal.
When I compare my AirNZ soup bowl with E/W Reflections on Teal cup and vit teal 739 saucer the effect is much the same as your comparison above.
Nice cup. It had not occurred to me that Downtown was vit but that makes sense. I suppose the saucers would be 739s.

3622 cup with 4030 saucer is weird. That's mixing styles and placing vit on E/W!

Re: Crown Lynn Trillos Auckland map plates
These Trillo's saucers on Facebook are a different shape than any I've seen before and the saucer well doesn't have any pattern. I wasn't aware that these were made in different shapes.

That saucer looks like the Forma shape. Weird.
