Terra Ceramics rearing horse and vase for gallery
A big rearing horse and green vase for gallery. The sticker on the vase also says Auckland NZ on the bottom.

Re: Terra Ceramics rearing horse and vase for gallery
That is cool. I have had it sitting under my bed for nearly 6 months from when I checked to see if it was already in the gallery until yesterday when I got hubby to eventually take the picture.
But I do hoover/clean under our bed.

Well, the vase must be hand potted because it has the vase on the sticker. May be Daniel Steenstra potted it, wouldn't that be great.

Re: Terra Ceramics rearing horse and vase for gallery
I am not certain, but I think my black vase is slipcast rather than hand thrown. And I am not sure that Dan Steenstra ever worked at Terra. I know he was at Beach after Crown Lynn, then (probably) worked with Eva Beach's stepbrother Peter Lowry. More questions than answers at present!

Re: Terra Ceramics rearing horse and vase for gallery
signal-red said that Dan worked at Terra Ceramics around 1990.
Let me find her post ...

The base on that vase doesn't look like Daniels work with it's flat bottom, though it does have the sticker that signal red mentioned.
