A few mystery pots, including Else and Colin Davies
This dish is unmarked but a distinctive motif, that I feel I have seen somewhere before
This dish is marked with a mark I thought I'd seen, but can't find now
Tantalising little pot, again I'm sure I've seen this style before with the collared top, but the mark is obscured, you can just make out the shape of it

The second mark is similar to one of Barry Ball's marks, but his has two dots inside one half, so it can't be his.

The mark is quite different from Beryl O'Donnell's one, which is more circles inside a larger circle than a circle divided by lines as this one is

Could be, hard to say, with the other examples being so obscured with glaze!

Re: A few mystery pots, including Else and Colin Davies
With Else and Colin Davies mark in front of me I will say that it's nearly a perfect match even though I can't see the dividing quarter line where the glaze is thick. The surround is the same and the circle is the same and the half line is exactly the same. As their sticker says Pukenamu Road, Te Horo I would expect their work to be found down your way Cat. Great stuff Kat !!
I've replaced their mark in the Gallery with this one Cat as I can just make out the beginnings of a quarter line on my pot. Your piece is typical of their high fired reduction stoneware that they made.

It looks to me like the surround of the mark on the little pot is a polygon (5 sided), maybe that would narrow down the possibilities?

Found it! Top photo must surely be a piece by Jane Gregory/McCallum
