This is the second listing I have seen with a blue glaze. I let some cups slip by a month or so ago. I'd quite like an example as I have the agate and the jasper ware in blue/white and the two-tone brown of the Whare mug (which differs from Anne's brown jasper ware sugar).

The coffee pot is not the same as the one in the gallery: differs in base and end of spout. We do not have the three-handle sugar or the creamer to match the #20 cup either.

Ev, is the terracotta colour likely to be a slip or the base clay?
The colouring overlap on the pot suggests it is a slip (or glaze).

Does anyone have other Te Rona slips and glazes that are not yet represented in the gallery? I'd love to see more.

Hi Jeremy, I've never seen any Te Rona with glaze on it like this listing and will have to keep an eye out for some. All of the pieces that I do have are terracotta slip cast and decorated with coloured slips, then clear glazed on the inside and a little on the outside.

More blue glaze:

(In reviewing that auction I see I let it go because the shapes were jug and sugar, rather than cup or mug.)

I do have a blue and white slip little jug which is in the gallery, but it doesn't have any glaze on the outside, so doesn't look as stunning as that salt and pepper. I check out the Other Manufacturers every day and didn't see that set with the blue glaze on them or the listing you added a link to earlier ....?

As well as daily "Other NZ" searches I make a "Te Rona" search (all categories) maybe once a week because even if I'm not buying it's certainly worth looking at.
