I've seen mentioned a few times that back in the early days of Crown Lynn, or maybe Amalgamated they made wreaths of roses for decorating graves.

Yeanah...I have been looking about at other french majolica wreaths & now think this one above may too be french.. so will keep looking for now. Suspect

This one is beautiful & I was able to take a pic of the back, I am certain this is a french one, just wanted to record it & have something to compare, while keeping a lookout for a Crown Lynn example. cat
