Jim has a couple of these in different sizes and I thought they been photographed and posted but I can't find them with a search for toilet.

This one is unmarked and stands 92 mm high.

I originally took them to be miniatures but unless they copy an American syphon toilet I now think they must be mugs.

Yes, narna's was the only search reply I got. It is a real miniature toilet.

Mine is just a toilet shape, and not even that obvious as Nicole didn't immediately recognise it as such!

Just pondering, if not an NZ piece then perhaps just a novelty, maybe even a tiki mug!

(Will search toilet and bathroom on ooga mooga.)

No luck on ooga mooga. This shape did not appear on google: I guess it will after their bot next passes through.

Thanks Ev. Now I see it I remember it.

Note the heavier top rim on mine.

As said above, Jim has two in different sizes, the smaller, same size as mine I think, not so well formed. I think Tony's will be the larger size.
When I see Jim's again I will check the rims.

Do you think this one is a Crown Lynn, and if so then NZ or Philippines.
If CL NZ it should have a castware 1000s number.
1976 would put it in the 1200s.

Only numbers left there are 1228 (which could be from 1977) or 1219 coffee mug for bottom banding 24.5.76 which would have to be some crazy pun.

81/5/18 It's not 1228.

I took my toilet mug to Jim's this arvo to compare.

top l-r: unmarked, BR? Hobby?, CL Phillipines "Mac Chapman"
bottom: 2 left are middle pan

My "mug" left is actually close to the size of the middle one. They look as though they come from the same mould. Jim's one has shiny footring and initials indicating Hobby Ceramics. Mine is unmarked.
