Supervitrified Unusual Unknown Pattern from 1973 is Ramada Inn
I almost passed this one up thinking it was made by some other pottery!!
This unusual pattern wraps around the side plate and shows up on the base ....
Not many Crown Lynn patterns do that do they now? The backstamp shows that it was made in 1973.

very unusual - pink & grey's - I wonder... if the guy who lives in Thames who designed the candy or duet pattern- had something to do with this pattern ?
Good find, Ev... To be honest, I wouldn't have bothered picking it up, It makes you think ; I should check everything !!! both sides LOL

The name could be in the records we have. Percy Golding is the designer you mean, but I think this will be specific to the place that used it.

Just looking at the Mark Cleverley book for some info and this pattern jumped out at me!!
There is a photo of 3 cups in the shape 3622 and an example of the pattern going over to the other side.
This was specially designed for Ramada Inn in Christchurch and Mark makes a point about the R going over the edge!!
Can't find this in the Database, but will add this pattern as Ramada Inn.

good find Ev...that does not "ring any bells " for me... I don't think that pattern name is in the deco book.

Just saw a reference to the newly constructed Ramada Inn, Victoria Square, Christchurch, 1974.
So that is who would have ordered this vitrified ware
