I have not seen it before. I love seeing the listing that still have the original box, tells you everything - They are a 4614 shape plate - would I be reading that correctly ?

which would make them vitrified and 10 inches across ....?
The box has 2 doz crossed out and 2 and a half added .....
2 doz is 24 and that is how many they have in the auction.
2 and a half doz would be 30 ...?
Hmmmm interesting and now we just have to find one
I have saved a pic of the pattern to my files for future reference.

I was also looking at the address-- First I thought 11 Tuam Street Christchurch--
but part of the label has been ripped off- leaving "ge Services" so the address must be longer than just 11 maybe XXX - X11 Tuam ( X meaning street numbers ) and possible College Services?
There were some civic buildings in Tuam street back in the 80's, as per google.

The fact that it says ge Services SI ltd, would that indicate there is a NI branch as well?
Who knows Christchurch? I am interested to know who used this pattern of plate

I did notice the 2 dozen crossed out - and wondered how they squeezed more plates into the box LOL

I am all "googled out" and found nothing !

the trader for this auction had added a comment and I quote!!!
"I also have cereal bowls, dessert bowls, coffee cups and butter dishes with the same design, all brand new in the box that I will be listing separately in a day or two as I get a chance to photograph and put them on trade me"

Great as there might be more info on the other boxes to be listed !
