What would the best way be to have this made from scratch, or are you aware of anywhere I could buy one
from old stocks?

Hi these towel rail ends do turn up from time to time on TradeMe, the New Zealamd online auction site. If you searched for "crown lynn towel rail" and "crown lynn bathroom" and any other phrases that you think might work, you might be lucky. My feeling is that it would be a lot cheaper to buy an existing item rather than get one made, IF you could even find anyone who was prepared to try making one.

My thoughts entirely, although I have in fact already looked on trademe (no luck yet) and wanted to keep my options open, given the fact that these will be like hen's teeth!

Reason being the decoration seems to be quite unique.
